Cuándo es el fin del mundo y qué ocurrirá ese día, según la IA
Science and the Bible offer different theories about the end of the world, but none establishes a definitive date: what AI says
Scientists, astronomers and philosophers, as well as different religions, have tried to answer a question that continues to arouse fear and curiosity in humanity: when will life on Earth really end? when is the end of the world?
From a scientific point of view, there is no exact date for the “apocalypse.” However, there are theories supported by astronomical and climatic research that allow us to estimate what could happen to the planet in millions or even billions of years.
At the same time, the Bible suggests previous signs, divine judgments and drastic changes in humanity before the so-called end times. In fact, most are reflected in the book of Revelation, which according to interpretations was written by the apostle John.

What AI says about the end of the world
From a data-driven perspective, some artificial intelligence systems such as ChatGPT and Gemini conclude that there is no scientific evidence of a near end of the world or a definitive date for the disappearance of humanity.
However, they agree that, according to different studies, the greatest current risks for civilization do not come from outer space, but from factors created or aggravated by humans themselves: climate crisis, pollution, wars, nuclear weapons and resource depletion.
Likewise, the AI also identifies that the concept of “end of the world” is often interpreted in different ways. For some it means the physical destruction of the planet; for others, the collapse of modern society or a profound spiritual change.
In its most reasonable conclusion, it indicates that the planet does not appear to be approaching an immediate end, although it does face real threats that could seriously affect human life if left unchecked.
What science predicts about the end of times
According to the scientific community, the most likely scenario for the end of the planet is related to the evolution of the Sun. In a 2021 study, published in the journal Nature, astronomers explain that our star will continue to slowly increase its temperature and size over millions of years.
Eventually, it will become a red giant capable of completely altering conditions on Earth. In this sense, estimates from NASA and other scientific organizations indicate that within approximately 5 billion years the Sun could expand so much that it would absorb or destroy nearby planets, including Earth.
