The high temperatures that are forecasted for this Monday May 11 raise the danger of bushfires could spark in southern California.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Monday is forecast to be one of the hottest days in 20 26, with records that can be between 15 and 20 degrees above the average in all valleys in the interior of the region.
The NWS forecast indicates thermometers exceeding three digits in deserts, in inland areas recording between 80 and 90 degrees, and 70 degrees in coastal areas.
