The effects of the new storm are forecast to begin Sunday night and continue into Wednesday morning.
Monday, with moderate to heavy rainfall that could last for several hours in the Los Angeles basin, in Ventura, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. According to meteorologists, rainfall is expected to reach half an inch per hour, enough to cause minor flooding in low-lying areas with poor drainage.
