A Hispanic man from Los Angeles was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents despite winning his long-pending immigration case.
Miguel Raudes, 46, a Northridge businessman, has been in custody at the ICE Processing Center in Adelanto, Southern California, for more than four weeks.
Raudes runs a local construction company with his wife, Julia Otey-Raudes, and fought a seven-year fight against a deportation order to Nicaragua.
