Shakira ruled out romance: “There is no time for anything”
The Colombian singer clarified the rumors about her love life, explaining that lack of time is the main reason why she does not have a partner.
Colombian singer Shakira put an end to speculation that linked her romantically to Mexican actor Manuel García-Rulfo.
In a recent appearance on “Suite 305”, the new podcast hosted by Venezuelan content creator Lele Pons, the Barranquilla native confirmed that she is completely single and has no immediate plans to start a romantic relationship.
Rumors about a possible courtship ignited social media in mid-June, after both artists were captured by paparazzi sharing a dinner at the exclusive Sunset Tower Hotel in Beverly Hills and, later, enjoying a night of dancing at the El Floridita salsa club in Los Angeles.
Despite the commotion that the images caused, the “Women No Longer Cry” interpreter dispelled any doubts with humor and naturalness during the conversation with Lele Pons.
“That's why I don't have a boyfriend, I don't have anything… There's no time for anything,” she confessed with a laugh during the interview recorded in Miami, arguing that her current schedule doesn't leave room for romance.
Shakira explained that her life is strictly divided into two priorities: the motherhood of her children, Milan and Sasha, and her musical career.
The artist revealed that the days when the children are with their father, Gerard Piqué, she takes advantage of them “intensely” to work, produce and schedule meetings at all hours, sleeping very little to be able to dedicate herself completely to her children when they return to her side.
