Cara Delevingne claims she and Amber Heard had a romantic relationship
On Louis Theroux's podcast, Cara Delevingne expressed that, at that time, Johnny Depp was jealous of her
The model and actress Cara Delevingne publicly confirmed, for the first time, that she had a romantic relationship with Amber Heard while she was going through her high-profile divorce from Johnny Depp. The revelation took place on a recent episode of Louis Theroux's podcast, where Delevingne spoke openly about her past and the challenges she has faced in the entertainment industry.
During the interview, Theroux asked Delevingne about “the Johnny Depp thing,” referencing old rumors linking the model to Heard.
Theroux mentioned that Depp was reportedly “freaking out over the idea that Amber could be sleeping with you.” To which Delevingne responded: "Am I supposed to have an opinion? It's because we made a movie together, which was called 'London Fields'. He was also making the movie. I think he was pretty crazy with jealousy. At that time nothing was happening. Then, after their divorce, I guess it did happen."
When Theroux asked for clarification, Delevingne was more explicit: “We were very close for a long time, and then during the divorce, yes, we were entangled… But she was also entangled with other people.” When Theroux mentioned Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX, with whom Heard was in a relationship until early 2018, Delevingne confirmed: “There you go.”
The origin of Depp's jealousy
Delevingne explained that the origin of Depp's jealousy dates back to the filming of “London Fields” in 2013, a film in which she, Heard and Depp himself participated. Despite Depp's rumors and suspicions during filming, Delevingne assures that at that time "nothing was happening" and that the relationship with Heard did not begin until after the actress separated from the Pirates of the Caribbean interpreter in 2016.
Delevingne rose to fame as a Victoria's Secret supermodel before turning to acting, appearing in films such as “Paper Towns,” “Suicide Squad” and the series “American Horror Story.” His appearance on the seventh season of Theroux's podcast joins a guest list that includes Yorgos Lanthimos, Boris Becker and Kyle MacLachlan.
