Southern California firefighters are on high alert as the dangerous heat wave hits Southern California.
The National Weather Service (NWS) extended the extreme temperature warning for most of the region until at least Tuesday, July 14, at the height of the summer heat wave.
The intense heat, added to the low humidity, forced firefighters in Southern California to remain on high alert for the possibility of wildfires.
