If you have not filed the income tax return of 2021-22 till now, then you can fill it till December 31 with the fine. If your total income is less than Rs 5 lakh, then you will have to pay a penalty of Rs 1,000. If the total income exceeds Rs 5 lakh, the penalty amount will increase to Rs 5,000. 

Third installment of advance tax: The last date for filing the third installment of advance tax for 2022-23 is December 15. Those whose annual income tax is more than Rs 10,000, they have to deposit advance tax. If by December 15, they do not deposit 75 per cent tax in advance or deposit less tax, then one percent interest will be charged.

Correction of mistake in IT return: It is possible that you have filled the income tax return for the financial year 2021-22 and there has been a mistake in it. In such a situation, you can file a revised return by 31 December. After this the mistake will not be rectified. Because of this, you may get a notice from the Income Tax Department.

Those who get pension from the government have to submit life certificate every year. The last date to submit it is November 30. Those who have not submitted the life certificate by the end of this month may face inconvenience in doing so from December 1.

The prices of CNG and PNG change on the first date or first week of every month across the country. In such a situation, it may or may not change with the increase or decrease in prices on a given date. Holidays will start in banks, banks will remain closed for 13 days next month.
