Sweetgreen announces the opening of branches this year
New Sweetgreen locations will be in Sacramento, Phoenix, Cincinnati, and Northwest Arkansas
The American fast-food salad chain, Sweetgreen, announced the opening of new branches this year in four cities across the United States with the goal of bringing its customizable bowls and its menu with fresh, nutritious, plant-based ingredients to more diners.
This year, the Los Angeles-based chain opened eight locations and expects to open a store in Huntersville, North Carolina this Thursday, June 12. Chris Tarrant, the chain’s director of development, mentioned that the new locations will be in Sacramento, Phoenix, Cincinnati and Northwest Arkansas.
Tarrant commented that “we look forward to serving more communities as we expand our presence with 15% to 20% annual unit growth and offer different formats to meet the needs of our guests wherever they are,” he added.

In addition, it updated its system to improve food preparation with its pilot store Infinite Kitchen and thus offer its customers improved service. “Team members add the finishing touches at the finishing station, with a sprinkle of herbs or a spoonful of avocado,” the statement said.
