After getting their diamond imports exempt from tariffs, members of the Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) presented President Donald Trump with a stunning watch-sized ring, which is studded with diamonds and other precious gems.

Isidore Mörsel, president of the AWDC, presented the ring to the Republican president on behalf of the centuries-old diamond community.

“May this ring serve as a lasting reminder that true union, like the finest natural diamonds, is forged under pressure, stands the test of time and shines brightest when it is based on trust,” he said.

The striking piece made of solid gold is embedded with 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds and six rubies.

The ring, worth between $25,000 and $35,000, was made by David Gotlib, a famous jeweler based in Antwerp, Belgium.

As far as its design is concerned, the jewel shows dozens of diamonds forming two large letters “T” next to the American flag and the numbers “1776” and “2026”.

Additionally, dozens of other gems frame the numbers 45 and 47 in the shape of the Superman logo.

The image of an eagle with diamonds shaping its wings while holding a ruby ​​shield and holding an emerald olive branch, as well as the phrase “250 YEARS USA.” engraved in 18-karat gold, they complement the piece whose interior is engraved with the phrase “Made in Antwerp for Donald John Trump.”

It should be noted that, in September of last year, the AWDC announced that it had “obtained a 0% import tariff” for Antwerp's exports to the United States, which annually exceed $2 billion in polished diamonds.

The ring was given to Bill White, United States ambassador to Belgium, to deliver to the 80-year-old president who only knows about the gift through photographs.
