Gerber recalls Arrowroot baby biscuits nationwide
The baby food brand reported that it is working closely with the FDA for the review of its products
The well-known brand specializing in nutritional products and foods for babies and children, Gerber, recently announced the recall of its popular Arrowroot biscuits due to the possible presence of a "foreign material" in the packaging.
The Nestle subsidiary company reported the voluntary recall this week, which has been issued nationwide. “We are working closely with the US Food and Drug Administration and will fully cooperate during their review,” Gerber said in the statement. According to the manufacturer, pieces of soft plastic and/or paper that should not be consumed have been reported, so the decision was made to recall 5.5 oz Arrowroot Biscuits produced between July 2025 and September 2025 with the following lot codes: "The quality, safety, and integrity of our products remain our top priority, and we take this responsibility very seriously. We sincerely apologize for any concern or inconvenience this action may cause to parents, caregivers, and retail customers," Gerber said. Although no injuries or illnesses have been reported from consuming this product, both the FDA and the manufacturer advised US consumers to discard the biscuits or return them to the retailer where they were purchased for a refund. Consumers can also call 1-800-4-GERBER (1-800-443-7237) if they have questions or need assistance.
