The brand announced that it will deliver 100 units of the 2026 Jeep Wrangler, but not to just anyone. The benefit will be reserved for a very specific group of Americans who share a historical name deeply linked to the country.
A campaign full of symbolism
The initiative was named “Wrangler for Washingtons” and is part of a broader advertising strategy with which Jeep seeks to connect sporting fervor, national pride and a special date for the United States.
The World Cup coincides with the celebrations for the 250 years of the country's independence, a commemoration that has promoted numerous promotional actions and special events in different sectors.
The most striking requirement
The mechanics of the contest have a peculiarity that quickly caught attention. To qualify for the prize, participants must legally be called George Washington, in addition to meeting other requirements established by the company.
If the United States men's team manages to win the World Cup in 2026, the first 100 validated participants will receive a 2026 Jeep Wrangler at no cost.
Jeep reported that interested parties must be legal residents of any of the 50 states of the country or the District of Columbia. They must also be at least 18 years old and complete the registration process within the official promotion deadline.
Registrations will be available between June 10 and July 19, 2026, coinciding with the development of the tournament.
The campaign has a fundamental condition. The prize will only become a reality if the United States manages to become world champion, a challenge that has historically been difficult for the North American team.
