We tested the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, a muscle car that combines brutal power with cutting-edge technology, delivering 550 horsepower and starting at $55,000.
The exterior design of the gasoline-powered Dodge Charger is very similar to that of the electric Dodge Charger Daytona, but with distinguishing details. The air intakes on the front, the sculpted hood with the Six Pack logo, the LED lights, and the new illuminated Dodge logo define its character.
The wheels are 20 inches with Brembo brakes: 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers in the rear, and 305 mm wide all-season tires.
The rear stands out with its black spoiler, light bar, and dual exhaust, while the trunk, deep but not very tall, is practical for everyday use. Under the hood, the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack is equipped with a 3.0L Hurricane Twin Turbo inline-six engine, the High Output version with the renowned Six Pack, which delivers a powerful and vibrant sound. The premium interior combines black leather with red accents, two screens, a 16” instrument cluster and a 12.3” center display, driver-assistance technology such as automatic braking, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and more. The front seats are heated and ventilated, the steering wheel is also heated, and the ambient lighting can be customized with 64 colors. The Dodge Charger Scat Pack has four driving modes (Sport, Eco, Wet, Snow) that adjust the engine, transmission, and exhaust valves, while the aluminum multi-link suspension offers Comfort and firmness at the same time. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, only slightly slower than the electric Charger Daytona. This muscle car also has 4-door sedan versions for $2,000 more than the coupe, and the Dodge Charger R/T with 420 horsepower is coming soon, starting at $49,995.
