Under the aegis of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC), Diploma Level Combined Competition (Junior Engineer) examination will be organized from October 23. Around 35000 candidates will write the Computer Based (CBT Mode) Exam. The examination for the appointment of Junior Engineers on 1285 posts will run till November 7. The commission has issued the online admit card of the candidates related to the examination. Candidates are downloading the admit card from 18th October.

Some candidates say that the admit card is being downloaded from different numbers. Due to this, confusion arose among the candidates. Its complaint was made to the commission's controller of examination on Friday . After this, it was told by the commission that the admit card of the same candidate from different numbers is being downloaded due to technical reasons. It will be fixed. Candidates will not face any kind of problem. All the concerned candidates have also been informed through e-mail. Technical glitches can also be removed at the examination center.

The examination will be conducted in CBT mode at five centers located in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad and Hazaribagh districts. Its preparation has been completed. Around 35000 candidates will write the exam at these centres.

The commission had published the advertisement on 28 December 2021 for the recruitment of 1285 Junior Engineers in various departments. The exam was taken on July 3, 2022. After the examination, the candidates alleged that the question paper was leaked before the examination. Later, the candidates also lodged an FIR at Namkum police station. After the accused was caught in the case, the commission canceled the said examination and started preparing to take the examination afresh. The exam conducting agency was blacklisted and removed. After selecting the new agency, the commission had asked all the candidates to upload the photograph and signature afresh. After this, the admit card was issued from October 18.
