Family sues Los Angeles daycare center for serious injury to son
The parents of a 23-month-old child demand justice after an incident at a daycare center in El Segundo; the minor suffered a traumatic brain injury and hearing loss
A family filed a lawsuit against an El Segundo-based daycare after their 23-month-old son suffered a serious injury when a worker allegedly dropped him after throwing him into the air. The incident occurred in March 2025.
According to family members, their son, identified in the lawsuit as CK, suffered a traumatic brain injury and hearing loss, for which they sued The Bay Club El Segundo for negligence, assault, fraud and moral damages.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. on March 17, 2025, shortly after CK was dropped off by his father at The Bay Club El Segundo clubhouse daycare. Later, the father went to the Manhattan Country Club, another Bay Club venue.
