Exceso de velocidad habra causado accidente donde Anthony Joshua result herido

The tragic car accident in which Anthony Joshua was injured and two other people died on a highway in Nigeria was allegedly caused by speeding, according to authorities in their initial investigation.

In a statement, the Nigerian Federal Highway Safety Corps indicated that the Jeep Lexus, in which Joshua was traveling with three other people, lost control while trying to overtake and crashed into a truck parked on the Lagos-Ibidan Highway in Makun, Ogun State.

Preliminary findings indicate that the Lexus Jeep, suspected of speeding, lost control during an overtaking maneuver and crashed into a truck parked on the side of the road, it reported.

The main causes of accidents, speeding and improper overtaking, constitute serious traffic violations and remain among the leading causes of fatal road accidents on Nigerian roads, it added.

Police and media in Nigeria also reported that the deceased were two British citizens, but their identities have not been fully released. According to reports, the victims were his personal trainer and rehabilitation/high-performance and strength and conditioning coach. Bbaseyi Boluwatife, spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command (Nigeria), confirmed to CNN that Anthony Joshua, who suffered minor injuries, is doing well in the hospital and is responding to treatment. Joshua is currently on vacation in the African country, as his parents are Nigerian, following his knockout victory over Jake Paul. The English fighter was scheduled to return to the ring in February or March against Tyson Fury, but these plans may change after this incident. Anthony Joshua, 36, recovered from his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September after defeating Paul. The Briton has a record of 29 wins, 25 by knockout, and four losses.
