The Emmy Awards recognize the best in television throughout the year. The 77th edition took place this Sunday, September 14, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The list of nominees for this edition was announced on July 15 and was introduced by actors Harvey Guillen and Brenda Song. This year, Apple's 'Severance' topped the list with a total of 27 nominations. In second place was 'The Penguin', available on HBO, with 24, and 'The Studio', with 23.
Other series that stood out this year were 'The White Lotus', 'The Pitt', 'The Bear' and 'Abbott Elementary', the latter two of which can be seen on the Disney + platform.
