Ricky Martin and Eiza Gonzalez defended Karol G after the snub she suffered in Paris

Karol G was made invisible during her time at Paris Fashion Week. Over the weekend, the Colombian singer attended several events, most notably the Schiaparelli fashion show.
At the Italian fashion designer's event, the Latina Foreva singer sat front row next to actress Hunter Schafer, and singers Cardi B and Dua Lipa; however, fashion magazine Dazed published a video on social media in which she mentioned all the celebrities in attendance, except for Karol G.
Dazed's gesture generated a wave of reactions on social media, among which those from Ricky Martin and Eiza Gonzalez stood out, who came to Karol G's defense.
The Puerto Rican singer immediately commented on the post ironically. “Excuse me, but who are the ladies sitting next to Karol G?”
The Mexican actress didn’t stay behind and also commented on the post to express her annoyance at Karol G being made invisible.
“Why doesn’t it surprise me that they decided to totally ignore the fact that Karol G is sitting there?” wrote Gonzalez.
Despite all the controversy, the Colombian actress expressed through her social networks that she lived “moments that feel like a fairy tale.” “How beautiful it is when fashion moves you… Congratulations @danielroseberry for so much beauty with purpose. Thank you for letting me be part of your universe,” she wrote in her post.
Karol G stood out for wearing a dress by designer Schiaparelli, who presented her new collection at the glamorous show.
Karol G's outfit consisted of a monochromatic dress, which played with cuts in symmetrical shapes throughout the bustier-cut dress completely covered in bullfighter-style embroidery.
The dress included bouquets of flowers with beaded fringes, a butter-colored satin duchess train, and an asymmetrical wavy neckline in ivory polka-dotted corseted canvas. The tube skirt with a subtle train gave it an air of Parisian elegance,although it caused her some difficulty climbing the stairs at the event.
The singer complemented the look with black velvet shoes and wore her hair loose with soft waves and subtle bangs.
Karol G's appearance at Paris Fashion Week comes shortly after she was in Madrid to promote her new album, Tropicoqueta.
