Adamari López celebrates his 55th birthday with an emotional review of his personal history
The Univision host continued her tradition of sharing an album with unpublished photos and videos with the experiences she has accumulated in her 55 years of life
A new chapter is written in the life of host Adamari López, who celebrated her 55th birthday on May 18. Through her Instagram account, the famous woman decided to share a look at the stages of her life that have made her the woman she is today.
The “Desiguales” presenter published an album of unpublished photographs and videos dating from her beginnings on television and the arrival of her little Alaïa, to the challenges she has faced in her fight to reach the peak of professional and personal success.
“55 years… and how nice it has been to live through each stage,” the small screen star began her message. “Many of the memories that you will see in this video I have never shared… and today I wanted to open a little piece of my story with you.”
Adamari López begins the audiovisual with a selection of images from her childhood, where she is seen surrounded by her parents and siblings, who over the years supported her in her dream of becoming a beauty queen in Puerto Rico.
“The dreamer girl, the woman who fought for her goals, the friend, the daughter, the sister, the partner, the mother… each version of me has left a mark on this story,” she expressed in her post.
However, not everything has been rosy for the artist on a personal level: “I have lived unforgettable moments, others difficult, many full of love, learning, work, laughter and wonderful people who have walked with me during all these years,” she comments in her message.
To illustrate this thought, López posted some postcards of her wedding with Luis Fonsi, as well as her time in the hospital due to a serious influenza respiratory infection that she suffered in 2018.
Despite the trials she has faced throughout her life, the actress in productions such as “Amigas y Rivales” is aware that “although time passes, there is something that never changes: the desire to continue living, growing, loving and being grateful.”
Finally, Adamari López mentioned her most special stage: that of mother. It was in March 2015 when, just a month after the death of her father, that the Puerto Rican welcomed her daughter Alaïa, the result of her relationship with dancer Toni Costa.
“Unknowingly, the happiest chapter of my life,” he said. “Today I want to celebrate life, but also every memory, every hug, every fall that made me stronger and every person who has been part of this path.”
