Final of Univision's 'The Threads of the Past' Conquers Hispanic Viewers: They Lead the Rating

The finale of "The Threads of the Past," a Televisa-Univision telenovela, was highly moving, with scenes that made us cry and understand the great love a mother will always have for her daughter. This story, beyond telling the love story of the protagonists, exposed a love that is not afraid of death, if the sacrifice is for the being conceived in a mother's womb. The drama, starring Yadhira Carrillo, Eduardo Santamarina, Barbara Lopez, David Zepeda, and Emmanuel Palomares, captivated Hispanic viewers, giving Univision the number one spot in prime time. The network has shared the ratings with us. And indeed, the numbers delivered reflect that Univision achieved first place in Spanish-language programming in the 9 pm to 11 pm time slot with double-digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34. It also outperformed Telemundo's entire primetime lineup, consisting of "Exatlon S10," "Dinastia Casillas," and "Lejos de Ti," among all key demographics. The program ranked among the top 3 most-watched programs across all television in primetime, ranking second among Adults 18-34 and third among Adults 18-49. The finale also positioned Univision as the number two network during the 9 pm to 11 pm time slot, surpassing CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW, Telemundo, and all cable networks among Adults 18-49. 18-49 and 18-34.
Throughout the night, Univision was the number one Spanish-language network, outperforming Telemundo by double digits among total viewers 2+ (+51% advantage), adults 18-49 (+49% advantage), and adults 18-34 (+34% advantage).
