The host from Guadalajara reacted to the negative comments she has received regarding her physique. We tell you what he said
The star of the small screen, Galilea Montijo, broke her silence about the criticism and negative comments she has received regarding her physique through social networks in recent weeks.
Willing to put a stop to the attacks that have arisen on digital platforms, the host of the “Hoy” program agreed to speak with the press about the debate that has been generated around the alleged “fixes” that she would have made to her face.
According to what “La Gali” said, the commotion that has been generated has had an impact on her perspective on herself: “Many pages have emerged where even I see myself as distorted,” she admitted.
However, he clarified that when negative thoughts come to his head, he tries to take back the reins by moving away from toxic speeches.
"I get up every day, I look in the mirror, I love myself very much. I am a flirtatious, vain person, I love taking care of myself. The public deserves it, even if you walk around in jeans, with a cap, the public deserves that you give them a good image," he acknowledged.
In this way, she explained that she finds it ironic that currently there is a discourse in which it is asked not to criticize women's bodies, when it is this same gender that begins with attacks on social networks.
"It makes me very funny, curious, that today we women are asking for so much respect that we don't talk about bodies, that we don't talk about women vs. women, and the first ones who are super tough are women. Where is this saying that 'other people's bodies are not talked about'?", she stated.
Galilea Montijo added that she is not closed to listening to the opinions of third parties, as long as these are shared respectfully and with the aim of evolving.
"I'm in favor when criticism is constructive. I don't like to criticize anyone, I have black humor, I even laugh at myself. But when I see so much criticism, he said: 'ah ch*ngá, what about sorority? Where is that thing about not talking about anyone's bodies?'... But hey, I can't change the world," he concluded.
