Karol G launched doll to raise funds for children with cancer
The singer presented a limited edition doll whose proceeds will go to improving the quality of life of children with cancer
Karol G once again demonstrates that her impact transcends the stage. In a moving initiative, the Colombian artist officially launched “Baby Pelon con Cora,” a doll inspired by the bravery of children facing cancer. The project aims to raise funds for hospital humanization projects and medical support. The doll, part of the renowned Juegaterapia Foundation collection, is characterized by its lack of hair, a gesture that seeks to normalize hair loss during chemotherapy treatments and strengthen children's self-esteem. In this special edition, the toy wears a scarf with floral and nature designs, created with the participation of Colombian girls undergoing cancer treatment and under the creative vision of “Bichota” herself. “Chemo flies by when you're playing,” is the slogan accompanying this campaign. Priced at approximately $19, the collection consists of only 8,000 numbered units, making them exclusive collector's items.
Impact on Children's Health
The profits from sales will be invested in transforming hospitals into more friendly and playful spaces. In Medellin, the funds will help adapt medical environments so that pediatric patients have access to play areas that reduce the emotional impact of illness.
With this launch, Karol G joins figures like Camilo, Shakira, and Alejandro Sanz, who have also collaborated with Juegaterapia.
This action reinforces the mission of her Con Cora Foundation, solidifying it as a pillar of support not only for vulnerable women and youth, but now also for children battling cancer in Colombia and around the world.
