Karol G will pay for the honeymoon of a couple who attended the first show of their tour
On the first night of her tour in Chicago, the artist surprised two newlyweds with plane tickets and VIP tickets to her 2027 concert in Paris
The Colombian singer Karol G once again demonstrated the special closeness she maintains with her followers during the great start of her new tour “Viajando por el Mundo Tropitour”.
During the opening night, held on July 24 at the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago before more than 60,000 spectators, the artist starred in one of the most emotional moments of the evening by giving a newlywed couple a complete honeymoon to Paris, France.
The episode took place during the first minutes of the show. From the stage, the "Provenza" singer noticed in the crowd a sign with a particular message held by the couple: "We're getting married. We want to go to another honeymoon show."
Moved by the story, Karol G paused the concert to interact directly with the fans and ask them what destination they dreamed of traveling to to celebrate their marriage.
After ruling out several options amidst the laughter of the audience present, the newlyweds expressed their desire to travel to the French capital, remembering that the artist has scheduled a date there as part of her tour. Without hesitation, the Antioquia singer announced to them on stage that she will assume the entire costs of their plane tickets and will give them VIP passes for her show scheduled in Paris on July 1, 2027.
The scene sparked a standing ovation in the venue and quickly went viral on digital platforms, accumulating millions of views and praise for the artist's generosity. This gesture set the festive tone for a tour that will visit more than 60 cities on four continents, including stops in North America, Latin America and Europe.
In addition to the emotional gift, the night in Chicago stood out for its first-class technical display. With a set designed as a monumental cavern, giant LED screens and an aquatic stage, Karol G delighted his fans with more than 30 songs, including “Provenza”, “Tusa”, “Bichota” and the live premiere of his new single, “Matadora”.
