Majo Aguilar responds to rumors about a supposed new romance
The regional Mexican music star decided to address the speculation about a supposed new romance just months after her separation from Gil Cerezo
Singer Majo Aguilar is not willing to continue being the target of speculation about her love life; for this reason, she decided to come out and deny the rumors that claimed her heart is already taken. What did she say? Here's the story.
In a recent press conference during her visit to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, the member of the Aguilar dynasty was emphatic in denying the romance rumors that arose after her recent breakup with Gil Cerezo, lead singer of the group Kinky.
The regional Mexican music star stated that she is currently focused on her professional career: "While my heart is open to new experiences, I'm not in a relationship right now," she explained to the cameras.
However, she is aware that love is a fundamental part of everyone's life, so she doesn't rule out the idea of ??welcoming it in the future: "Imagine if I ruled out falling in love, I'd be condemning myself. No, of course not," she added.
Majo Aguilar's statements come just a few months after announcing her separation from Kinky's lead singer, Gil Cerezo. Despite keeping the reasons behind her decision private, she explained that there was no room for drama or resentment in their breakup. “We broke up a couple of months ago, but we ended things very amicably. Always with all the love in the world and with all the respect we had for each other,” she revealed last July. “I’m no longer with Gil, with all the love in the world for him, whom I also admire very much, I love him very much. Our relationship ended in a very beautiful way with a lot of respect,” she said.
