According to Page Six, sources close to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce said they plan to get married next summer in Rhode Island.
Unlike other celebrities who prefer European destinations, they opted for a location where Taylor already owns a mansion in Watch Hill, Westerly, which has recently been renovated and has stunning ocean views.
Although the couple is not formally planning the wedding yet and would rather enjoy their engagement slowly, a source told Page Six that Taylor is in a hurry to start a family, so they hope that the wedding and motherhood will be part of her plans in the near future.
In addition, Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee expressed enthusiasm for the possibility of this high-profile wedding taking place in his state, highlighting its numerous prominent venues for such events.
Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion, purchased in 2013 for $17.5 million and recently renovated for $1.7 million, has eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and spacious gardens with a pool.
The space has been the setting for private celebrations with celebrities and the singer's music videos, such as "The Last Great American Dynasty" from her album Folklore. This place will likely be the epicenter for the long-awaited wedding.
