165 found corona positive including seven doctors in Patna, 422 newly infected found across the state
The number of active patients in Patna has reached 970. These include seven doctors and five health workers.
Patna. The number of new corona infected is increasing in the state. During the last 24 hours, 422 new coronas were found infected in the state, while 254 patients have recovered. Once again in Patna district, the maximum number of 165 new infections were found in the state. With this, the number of active patients in the district has reached 970. These include seven doctors and five health workers. Corona has been confirmed in two doctors of IGIMS and NMCH and three doctors of PMCH. However, it is a matter of relief that the infection rate in Patna district has come down from 3.12 percent to 2.50 on Wednesday. A total of three new patients have been admitted in 24 hours including PMCH and Patna AIIMS Hospital.
1741 active patients of corona in the state
The number of active corona patients in the state has increased to 1741, out of which 1705 people are in home isolation. In the last 24 hours, one lakh 16 thousand 443 samples were tested in the state. After Patna, 46 have been found in Gaya district, 24 in Muzaffarpur, 23 in Banka, 17-17 in Bhagalpur and Vaishali, 14-14 in Begusarai and Jehanabad, 10-10 in Arwal and Khagaria. Apart from this, seven are in Saran, six in Munger, five each in Araria, Bhojpur and Purnia, four each in East Champaran, Madhepura, Rohtas, Saharsa, Samastipur and Supaul, three each in Nalanda, Sitamarhi and Jamui, Darbhanga, Kishanganj. Two each in Lakhisarai, Madhubani, Nawada, Sheikhpura and Sheohar and one each in Aurangabad, Buxar and Siwan have been found to be corona positive.
Booster dose to students, teachers and non-teaching staff
Health Centre, NSS and IQAC jointly in collaboration with State Health Society, College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna, on the first day of two-day corona vaccination, on Friday, about two hundred people were given first, second and booster doses of corona. The vaccination camp was inaugurated by the Principal Prof. Inderjit Prasad Rai. He said that vaccination is the only way to prevent, so all people should participate enthusiastically in vaccination. Apart from the students who were vaccinated on this occasion, Prof. AK Nag of Patliputra University, Prof. K.C. Deep, Prof. Santosh Kumar, Safdar Imam Qadri etc. were present.
