The bustle in Jammu has intensified regarding the holy Amarnath Yatra of Baba Barfani starting from July 3. The Yatri Base Camp located in Bhagwati Nagar has come alive with the hustle and bustle of officials, security forces and volunteers engaged in helping the pilgrims. Preparations are going on at a war footing to provide a safe, respectful and convenient experience to the lakhs of devotees coming from the country and abroad.

Every corner of the camp will shine

Just before the yatra, every corner of the camp is being spruced up. Painting is being done, buildings are being repaired and an intensive cleaning campaign is going on. Here special attention has been paid to facilities like accommodation, toilets, clean water, medical aid, mobile toilets.

Safety is the most important thing

CRPF, Jammu Police and other forces have started strategic deployment on the entire route for the safety of the pilgrims. Officers are inspecting the camp every day to ensure that there is no lapse. On July 3, the first batch will leave from here for Baltal and Pahalgam route. Even before this, devotees from every corner of the country will start arriving here. The arrangements for registration and accommodation are completely ready.

Relief agencies will also remain alert

Relief agencies will also be on-call so that immediate help can be provided whenever needed. This time the government and the local administration want to ensure that every devotee finds this journey to Baba Amarnath a combination of faith and convenience.
