CBI raided 19 places including Delhi, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Gurugram, Sonepat and Ghaziabad while taking action in the disproportionate assets case. The CBI has seized over Rs 20 crore in cash from the premises of Rajinder Kumar Gupta, former chairman and managing director of Water and Power Consultancy Services (WAPCOS), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

Rajinder Kumar Gupta was recently booked for amassing assets disproportionate to his sources of income, officials said on Tuesday. After registering a case against Rajinder Kumar Gupta and his family members, CBI teams searched their premises. Wherein Rs 20 crore in cash was seized apart from documents related to properties and other valuables.
