Chirag Paswan took to the road against Agneepath scheme in Patna
Bihar bandh got the support of many political parties.
Bihar Bandh was announced on Saturday in protest against the Agneepath scheme. Which was supported by many political parties. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) national president Chirag Paswan also supported this bandh. Regarding this, Chirag Paswan along with his workers went out for a march to Raj Bhavan today.
Demand to withdraw Agneepath scheme
Jamui MP Chirag Paswan left his SK Puri residence along with the workers for Raj Bhavan but the police stopped him and his supporters near the striking turn. Due to this, there was a slight clash between the police and the workers of LJP Ramvilas. After which Chirag Paswan along with his 5 other workers went to Raj Bhavan where he submitted a memorandum to the Governor. Chirag Paswan in his memorandum demanded withdrawal of Agneepath scheme.

Chirag Paswan had told his leaders and workers before marching that no worker would create any kind of ruckus. A silent procession will be taken out and no slogans of any kind will be raised. After which the party workers marched till the Raj Bhavan wearing a black bandage on their faces.
Opposition to Agneepath plan
Earlier, Chirag Paswan had opposed the Agneepath scheme and said that the new scheme that the central government has brought should be withdrawn immediately. He had said that this scheme is not in the interest of the youth. This will further increase unemployment in the country. Chirag had also said that the damage to government property by the students was wrong.
