The richest man on the planet must answer before a judge about a pair of complaints filed against him for allegedly having orchestrated fraud prior to the 2024 presidential elections.

South African Elon Musk is considered a pillar of Donald Trump's campaign to put him back in the White House.

Using a small fraction of his fortune obtained from Tesla, the visionary entrepreneur in the development of electric vehicles decided to enter the big leagues of politics by assuming the role of patron.

At the end of the 2024 elections, the more than $200 million donated to conservative PACs contributed to making Trump the head of the nation.

However, one of Musk's strategies in particular continues to generate noise, as he offered a million dollars to registered voters in key states, this in exchange for signing a petition in favor of promoting the defense of the First and Second Amendment (freedom of expression and the right to bear arms).

Therefore, Joy Harvick and Jacqueline McAferty chose to sue Elon Musk and America PAC, accusing them both of allegedly misleading voters in seven key states by getting them to sign their petition.

“The only thing we ask in exchange for the million dollars is that you be a spokesperson for the petition,” the South African billionaire used to say at the events he attended to promote Trump.

The two women from Arizona who are suing the former head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) maintain that, in reality, more than a simple signature, Musk managed to get people to provide him with detailed information about their voting habits and preferences.

For this reason, Susan Hightower, judge of the Western District of Texas, called him to appear to testify in order to determine if he acted recklessly by saying that he would pay someone “at random” to sign his petition.
