The increase in the number of active corona patients in the country has once again raised the concerns of the people. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday (July 10), the number of active patients in the country has increased to 1,28,690, which is three thousand more than yesterday. At the same time, 18,257 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and during this time 42 patients lost their lives. A total of 52,5,428 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic.  

According to the data of the Health Department of Delhi, a total of 544 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and two patients died. According to the Health Department of Delhi, for the third consecutive day, between 500 and 600 cases of infection have been reported in Delhi. At the same time, there are 2264 active patients in Delhi. Of these, 1595 patients are in isolation at home. The city currently has 316 containment zones. Delhi has reported cases of Omicron's more infectious subtypes BA-4 and BA.5, but experts have said there is no need to panic as the subtype is not causing serious infections.

In Maharashtra, 2760 cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours and five people died. The total number of infected in the state has increased to 80,01,433 and the number of dead has increased to 1,47,976. According to the Health Department, 78,34,785 people have become infection free in the state. Maharashtra currently has 18,672 under-treatment patients.
