Delhi Pollution: The situation in the national capital Delhi is becoming more serious. In many areas of Delhi, the air quality index on Tuesday i.e. on November 1, the air quality index is beyond 400, while the situation in Narela, Delhi is said to be the most dangerous. Let us know that the AQI of 571 has been recorded here. Let us tell you that in many areas of Delhi, the AQI is above 500 i.e. the situation remains dangerous. The Air Quality Index (AQI) currently stands at 444 in Noida (UP) in the 'severe' category, 594 in Dhirpur (Delhi) in the 'severe' category and 391 in Gurugram (Haryana) in the 'very poor' category. The overall AQI of Delhi stands at 385 (Very Poor Category) this morning.

According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board, at around 8.30 am on Tuesday, November 1, the air quality index of most areas of the capital was recorded above 400, which falls in the severe category. AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 'very poor' and 401 to 400 'very poor'. An AQI between 500 and above is considered 'severe'. While there is a dangerous situation above it, in which it is difficult to breathe.

Let us inform that on Monday, keeping in mind the increasing pollution level in Delhi, the third phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) has been implemented. However, no effect of this is visible at the moment and there is a possibility that there will be an increase in pollution for the next 4 to 5 days. According to the media sources, according to the forecast, the average air quality index (AQI) in Delhi in the next two days may remain in the very poor category and in some places in the severe category.

According to SAFAR, it is being told that the winds have turned northwest, due to which the stubble smoke is reaching the capital Delhi and the pollution level in Delhi is getting worse. On stubble factor of pollution in Delhi, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that there are no incidents of stubble burning in Haryana even 10 percent as compared to Punjab, the incidents of stubble burning in our country have reduced very much. Last year there were 2,561 incidents of stubble burning, it has increased to 1,925 this year while 13,873 incidents have taken place in Punjab this year.
