The CBI has once again sent notice to Aam Aadmi Party leader and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for questioning in connection with the alleged scam in the Delhi government's excise policy . Here, after receiving the notice to Sisodia, the Aam Aadmi Party has once again attacked the BJP and the Narendra Modi government at the Center.

Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj has claimed that Manish Sisodia may be arrested on Tuesday after receiving the CBI notice. He linked the notice to Sisodia with the Gujarat elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party is scared of the Aam Aadmi Party. Sisodia has been summoned by the CBI to stop the program in Gujarat elections. They can also be arrested after interrogation. He further said, AAP is not going to be afraid of this, but it will strengthen the party further. "I am convinced of Sisodia's arrest because it has happened many times before. AAP leaders are called for questioning, later they are arrested. He said, the graph of AAP in Gujarat will read due to the oppression of the BJP.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh, reacting to the CBI notice to Sisodia, said, "BJP thinks that it will avoid defeat in Gujarat by putting AAP leaders in jail. But BJP is not going to survive. Sisodia has not been called for questioning but for arrest. This is because a notice has been given to stop Sisodia from doing the program in Gujarat. This notice is a sign of defeat of BJP. How many charges should be leveled against Sisodia? Alleged scam of 10 thousand crores, raids were conducted at 500 places to prove it, but nothing was found. After 14 hours of raids, neither evidence of benami property of Re 1 nor any documents were found. CBI is working at the behest of the central government. BJP is conspiring to stop AAP in Gujarat.

After receiving the notice from CBI, Sisodia tweeted and wrote, "CBI raided my house for 14 hours, nothing came out. My bank locker was searched, nothing came out of it. They did not find anything in my village. Now they have called me to CBI Headquarters tomorrow at 11 am. I will go and give my full cooperation. Satyameva Jayate.

The Excise Policy 2021-22 was implemented from November 17 last year and under this retail licenses were issued to private bidders for 849 shops in 32 zones across the city. According to officials, it was found in the report of the Chief Secretary that after the issuance of tender, there was a deliberate and gross procedural lapse to give undue advantage to those who had obtained liquor trading licenses. It was alleged that tenders were floated to the detriment of the exchequer and thereafter undue financial benefits were extended to those who had obtained liquor business licenses. In this case, the CBI had registered an FIR in August against Sisodia and 14 others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act.
