Gaya airport director Bangjit Saha said that after October 20, Myanmar Airways aircraft will fly from Gaya to Yangon four days a week. He told that at present no schedule of any kind has been received for the flights coming from Thailand. But from October, the movement of passenger planes will also start from Bangkok and Hanoi Airport in Vietnam.

Director Bangjit Saha said that in view of the tourist season of Bodh Gaya, special arrangements are being made at the airport in view of the commencement of the movement of international flights. It is noteworthy that at present, air service is available from Gaya to Delhi and Gaya Kolkata. Due to the Pitru Paksha fair organized in Gaya every day full load passengers are reaching Gaya in planes.
