Kerala's first transgender bodybuilder allegedly committed suicide on Thursday. He was identified as Praveen Nath. According to the police, Praveen Nath allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence located in the suburban area of the city. Praveen's body has been kept at the Government Medical College and Hospital here.

Praveen married his bodybuilder partner on Valentine's Day this year. According to some online media reports, the relationship between the two was allegedly strained. Praveen had denied such reports.
