Two private buses collided in the early hours of Saturday in Maharashtra's Buldhana district. Five people, including two women, died in the accident. During this, 20 other people were injured. The accident took place around 2.30 am on a flyover in Malkapur town of the district, a police official said.

According to the official, one of the buses that met with the accident was going to Hingoli after Amarnath Yatra, while the other private bus was going towards Nashik. The bus tried to overtake a truck. During this, another bus came from the front and collided.

Five people, including two women, have been killed and 20 injured, the official said. Senior police officers of the district reached the spot and took the injured to the nearest hospital. The traffic on the road was disrupted for some time due to the accident, he said.
