Both of them were in contact with Canada resident gangster Lakhbir Singh Landa. After the information, a joint operation was carried out in Jamui.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar told that during this time the police raided in Darima of Arunmabank Panchayat. When the raiding team reached Darima, a person was trying to escape from there under suspicious circumstances. The raiding party got suspicious and questioned the person, in which he revealed his name as Karan Mann. During interrogation, Karan told the police that he had come to this area to hide from Punjab because of the number of cases registered against him in Amritsar. He also confessed that he was in touch with Lakhbir Singh alias Landa gang and was also involved in arms dealing, heroin smuggling and smuggling. After which he was arrested.
