A youth was shot dead in Siwan on the evening of Diwali. This incident was carried out near the Jalalpur canal of Daronda police station area. In protest, the angry villagers took to the road on Tuesday morning and blocked the National Highway by placing the dead body on Siwan Chhapra National Highway 531 near Jalalpur village. Police officials also had to face opposition from the villagers.

On Monday evening, near the Jalalpur canal of Daronda police station area, criminals shot a person named Manoj Yadav in broad daylight. The incident took place when Manoj Yadav, son of Chanar Yadav, resident of Jalalpur Bathan Tola village, was returning home from Chanchaura market after doing Diwali market. Meanwhile, criminals were already ambushed at Kamla Chowk turn. As soon as Manoj proceeded on the car from that road, the criminals chased him and surrounded him from the front before the canal.
Shot dead
The criminals surrounded Manoj and fired bullets at him and injured him. After shooting, waving weapons ran towards Chanchaura. The injured Manoj Yadav died on the way while being taken to the hospital for treatment.

It is said that the police have recovered a mobile phone from the spot. Till the writing of the news, the angry villagers were jammed on the Siwan Chhapra National Highway 531. Hundreds of vehicles are parked on both sides due to the jam on the National Highway.

But the police officer had to face opposition from the people and people started pelting stones at the police party. No one was hurt during stone pelting. Angry people were demanding to call the police station chief.
