Muzaffarpur Mob Lynching: A youth was beaten to death by a mob near Chhath Ghat on Sunday evening in Mahartha village of Kanti police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur. The matter is related to love affair. The deceased youth has been identified as Ayan alias Nihal K (19 years) of Mehndi Hassan Chowk in Brahmapura. The angry mob also beat up Ayan's friend Faizan and badly injured him. But, the police somehow saved him from the crowd and brought him to the police station in a jeep. Kanti SHO Sanjay Kumar hurriedly took possession of the body and sent it to SKMCH for post-mortem.

On Monday morning, when the dead body of Ayan reached Mehndi Hassan Chowk of Brahmapura after the post-mortem, the family members of the deceased and the people of the locality got angry. The mob started creating a ruckus demanding the arrest of those involved in the lynching. Crowds were protesting by burning tyres, jamming the intersection. On the information of the uproar, the police team of Sadar, Kazimohmadpur, Ahiyapur, Nagar, Mithanpura reached under the leadership of city DSP. After explaining for more than four hours, the jam came to an end. The DSP has assured the relatives of the deceased that the people involved in the mob will be identified and arrested at the earliest.

It is being told that Ayan had gone to Mahartha to meet the girl. She used to live in Brahmapura earlier. During this, his love affair with Ayan started. Two years ago, Ayan and his girlfriend had run away from home. In this case, the girl's father had lodged an FIR of kidnapping in the Brahmapura police station. Ayan also went to jail in this case. He was released from jail only recently. Ayan's relatives have also presented a paper before the police, in which the matter of court marriage with the said girl has come to the fore. The date of 29 November 2018 is also mentioned on the court marriage papers. SHO Sanjay Kumar said that on the statement of the injured Mo. Faizan, an FIR has been lodged against the accused attackers. Raids are being conducted by the police for his arrest.

Ayan alias Nehal along with his friend Faizan had come to meet his alleged girlfriend. As soon as he went to his girlfriend behind Chhath Ghat, some people accused of molesting started creating a ruckus. Due to this, the agitated mob first ran and thrashed both the youths. Then, Ayan is beaten to death with bricks and stones.

Some anti-social elements involved in the crowd of people protesting by blocking the road at Mehndi Hassan Chowk with Ayan's body also beat up the passers-by. Opened the air of many bicycles. At the same time, he was badly injured after beating up the bike riders.
