Section 144 implemented between Albert Ekka Chowk to Rajendra Chowk in Ranchi, effect will remain till 6:00 am tomorrow

Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Deepak Dubey has imposed prohibitory orders under section-144 on Mahatma Gandhi Marg from Albert Ekka Chowk to Rajendra Chowk via Sujata Chowk and up to a distance of 200 meters on both sides of this road. It will be effective from 06:00 am on Sunday to 06:00 am on Monday.

Prohibitory orders enforced from the point of view of security

It was told that there is an international one-day cricket match between India and South Africa in Ranchi on Sunday. Also Eid is Miladunnabi festival. In view of the possibility of huge crowd in both the events, prohibitory orders have been imposed from the point of view of traffic, law and order and security. It has been said in the issued order that the persons going along with the patient going to the hospital, students/girls going to school and college, haat-bazaar, hotel, shop people, procession, funeral procession, government employees/police force on duty. And it will not be applicable to the players, office bearers and their associates attending the match. Gathering of five or more than five persons at one place, going out or walking on the road (except for officials/employees engaged in government work along with government programs) will be prohibited.

Eid Miladunnabi today, Procession-e-Mohammadi will come out

The birthday of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SA) 'Eid-Miladunnabi' will be celebrated with pomp on Sunday. For this, special decoration has been done in Muslim-dominated areas. Mosques have been decorated. Takreer and Jalsa have been organized at many places. On this day special dishes are also prepared in homes, while Quran is recited. On this occasion a procession-e-Mohammadi will be taken out in a Muslim-dominated area. However, in view of the cricket match between India and South Africa, this time the procession will not pass through the main road. Under the aegis of Sunni Barailvi Central Committee, preparations have been completed for the Julus-e-Mohammadi to be held on Sunday.

Magistrates posted by dividing the city into six zones

In order to maintain law and order during Eid Miladunnabi, the Deputy Commissioner and the SSP have issued a joint order and deputed the magistrate, police officers and police force. By dividing the city into six zones, the zonal magistrate has been deputed. It was told that along with the magistrate at the front and back of the procession, static magistrates have also been deputed at a total of 41 places in the city. From 7:00 am on October 9 till the end of the festival, deputation of magistrates, police officers and force has been done. Apart from this, Sadar, Bundu CO, SP (City/Rural) will monitor law and order in their area. A district control room has also been set up for Eid Miladunnabi. Executive Magistrate Pawan Kumar has been made in-charge of the control room.
