South Korea has issued an advisory for its citizens following an incident of molestation and misbehavior with a Korean woman on a Mumbai street. The South Korean Embassy has appealed to its citizens in India not to venture out at night in view of security. It is said that it is not safe to go out at night in Indian cities. 

In fact, recently the incident of molestation with a South Korean woman came to light in Mumbai. Was doing 'livestreaming' in suburban Khar area of ​​Mumbai at around eight o'clock in the night. During this, a young man came very close to the woman and tried to pull her by holding her hand. After this he also followed the woman. After the video of the incident went viral, people on social media demanded the arrest of those who harassed the woman. After this the police arrested both of them.

Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that there is no information about whether the South Korean embassy has contacted us so far. However, he said about the incident that adequate security is being provided to the woman by the local administration. If the Ministry of External Affairs needs to intervene in this matter, we will certainly look into it. 

After the incident, the female YouTuber of South Korea has said in her statement that she is happy with the action of the police. Talking to ANI, YouTuber Hyojeong Park said that this happened to me earlier in another country as well but could not call the police at that time. On the other hand, very fast action is being taken in India. She further said that she is in Mumbai for the last three weeks and is now planning to stay for a longer period. Mobeen Chand Mohd Shaikh and Mohd Naqib Sadriyalam Ansari, the two accused who harassed a South Korean female YouTuber during live streaming in Mumbai, have been sent to one-day police custody.
