The shortage of doctors in Patna AIIMS will end by next month. Due to less resources and more workload, many doctors have done the work of leaving Patna AIIMS in the past. In such a situation, doctors are either not there or not in many departments. Now in such a situation, patients are not being treated in these departments.

There is no appointment of doctors in the Nephrology and Neurology department. But, by August, the facility of treatment will be available in all the departments. Doctors will be appointed in all departments. This information has been given by Dr. Gopal Krishna Pal, the newly appointed director of AIIMS.

Dr. Gopal Krishna Pal told that more than half the posts of doctors are vacant in Patna AIIMS. There are many departments in which patients are not being treated. But, by the first week of August, the appointment process of doctors in all departments will be completed. OPD of all departments will also start by the last week. After appointments, patients will not have to wait long in OPD and operation.

AIIMS Director said that for a long time, hospital doctors have not been promoted. A committee will be formed soon for this. The shortage of senior resident doctors will be removed. After this, para-medical personnel will also be appointed. After filling the post by internal promotion, the posts will be advertised again in October on the vacant posts.
