The High Court has dismissed the petition filed for the CBI investigation in the famous case of the murder of receptionist Ankita Bhandari at Vanantara Resort in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The bench of senior judge Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra had reserved the decision after completing the hearing in the case, which was given today on Wednesday

In its decision, the court said that the SIT is doing the right investigation. Earlier, the court had made the parents of the deceased a party to the petition and asked them to present their detailed reply. He was also asked by the court as to why there is doubt on the SIT investigation. While the SIT had said that the photography was done before the resort room was demolished with bulldozers.

Nothing was found except a bag from the room of the deceased. Let us tell you that Ankita's mother Soni Devi and father Birendra Singh Bhandari had given an application in the petition to get justice for their daughter and to hang the culprits. In which it was alleged that the SIT was negligent in the investigation of the matter.
