While a mountain of notes has been found from the houses of Arpita Mukherjee, arrested in West Bengal's famous SSC scam, her mother Minauti Mukherjee is still living in a 50-year-old ancestral house amidst misery. 

Minauti Mukherjee lives in her ancestral house in North 24 Parganas district. According to a media report, Minati does not even know why her daughter is in the headlines? He said Arpita had come here last week. She never stayed here for long. Minauti mostly stays alone in her house. This house was built 50 years ago.

Minauti Mukherjee is often ill, Arpita keeps visiting her at her house. Neighbors of Minauti Mukherjee say that Arpita has hired servants to look after and help her mother. Arpita has been sent to ED custody till August 3 by the court. He is constantly being questioned as to whose confiscated money from his flats is after all? 

In a discussion with a news channel, Minati Mukherjee said that if Arpita had obeyed me, I would have married her. His father was in a government job, so he could have got that job. He had left the ancestral home long ago. She wanted to work in Bengali films and television shows. Regarding Arpita's arrest, Minauti said that I came to know from the news. I have no idea about crores of rupees or mountain of notes. 

Let us tell you, Arpita Mukherjee is close to former Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee. Chatterjee has recently been removed from the post of minister by CM Mamta Banerjee. Prior to this, he was one of the special mentors of Mamta Banerjee.
