The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors could increase the costs of marriage licenses, civil wedding ceremonies, and witness services.
According to a letter sent to council members by the clerk of the county recorder's office County, Dea Logan, the county has not made any adjustments to marriage license fees since 2009, although the state added $1 to the cost in 2014.
