Indian team's star batsman Jasprit Bumrah has joined Team India. Bumrah did not play for Team India in the Asia Cup 2023 match against Nepal. He has become a father for the first time. A son is born to them, who has been named Angad. He had come to Mumbai from Sri Lanka to see his child and has now joined the team ahead of the match against Pakistan.

Bumrah is returning to the Indian team after a long time. After playing in the T20 match against Australia last year, he played in the T20 series against Ireland almost a year later. However, now after more than a year, he will play an ODI match. Bumrah was in the team in the match against Pakistan, but he did not get a chance to bowl.

This match between India and Pakistan is to be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. It has been raining continuously in Colombo for the last few days.
