With a key comeback in the seventh inning, the Vinotinto team secured their place in the championship game, where they will now face the United States in search of their first world championship.
Italy surprised first in the World Baseball Classic semifinal
The Italian team, managed by Francesco Cervelli, came out determined to continue surprising in the tournament and managed to take the lead during the bottom of the second inning.
