Apple has finally launched the MacBook Pro in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. Apart from MacBook, Apple has also introduced Mac mini desktop computer, in which M2 series processor has been given. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro (2023) models have been introduced with the recently launched M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. At the same time, Mac mini has M2 CPU and there is also an option of M2 Pro CPU.
Price and Specifications
MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2023), MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2023) with a starting price of Rs 2,49,900. Regarding both these laptops, the company has claimed 22 hours of battery life. There is also support for Wi-Fi 6E with both models and there is also an updated HDMI port that claims to support 8K external displays. Both laptops will be available in Silver and Space Gray colours.
The MacBook Pro with 14-inch size and 10 CPU cores with M2 Pro CPU is priced at Rs 1,99,900. It will get 16GB of RAM, although it can be configured to 32GB. It will get 512GB of SSD storage which can be configured in 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB.
The screen resolution of the 14-inch MacBook Pro is 3024x1964 pixels, while the 16-inch model has a display with a resolution of 3456x2234 pixels. The screen has a Liquid Retina XDR display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The peak brightness of the display is 1000 nits. With this, 67W, 96W or 140W USB Type-C options will be available for the charger.
The new MacBook Pro has three Thunderbolt 4, HDMI video outputs, an SDXC card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Along with this, a webcam of 1080 pixels will also be available. There are 6 speakers with the laptop. The 14-inch model is 15.5mm thin and weighs 1.63kg. The 16-inch model is 16.8mm thin and weighs 2.16kg overall.
Price and specification of Mac mini (2023) The starting price of Mac mini (2023) is Rs 59,900. The M2 processor will be available at this price, while the starting price of the model with the M2 PRO processor is Rs 1,29,900. 8GB, 16GB or 24GB options will be available for memory, while 256GB SSD, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB options will be available for storage.
All Mac minis have built-in speakers and have four ports for Thunderbolt 4, one HDMI output, one gigabyte port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity, it will get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
