Good news! Metro D Line Resumes Service After 70 Days
Los Angeles Metro resumes full D Line service at 4:00 a.m. this Saturday between Union Station and Wilshire/Western
After 70 days, starting at 4:00 a.m. this Saturday, July 26, Metro Los Angeles is resuming full rail service on the D Line between Union Station and Wilshire/Western.
Since the temporary closure began on Saturday, May 17, vital engineering connection work for the new D Line Extension has been completed, paving the way for future service connecting Downtown Los Angeles to Century City, Westwood, and UCLA.
In addition, this project is part of Metro's "28 by 28" initiative, which improves regional mobility toward the Olympic Games and Paralympics to be held in Los Angeles in 2028.
