Search for man accused of murdering his parents in Houston
The victims, a married couple aged 75 and 73, were found in their home on Crosby Lynchburg Road. The couple son faces capital murder charges.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double homicide that has shocked the community in the Houston, Texas area.
Last Friday, July 11, 2025, officers responded to a home located on Crosby Lynchburg Road after receive a welfare check report. Upon arrival, they found a tragic scene: Christopher Leman Sr., 75, dead, and his wife, Mary, 73, seriously injured.
The woman was transferred by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, in downtown Houston, where she fought for her life for two days, but finally died, Telemundo reported.
The main suspect: the couple's son
Preliminary investigations point to their son, Christopher Leman Jr., 47, as the main suspect, who faces charges of capital murder.
According to authorities, Leman Jr. is a fugitive and is considered highly dangerous to the community. The sheriff urged the public to remain vigilant and not to attempt to confront him under any circumstances.
